2013 stole upon us like a thief and suddenly we are at the end of February.
Well, eventful it has been so far though. With the State Elections, personal travels, a grand tour of Mokokchung (finally!) with dear Imcha and a long due performance for our well-wishers there, another trip to Dzüdü Lake and gig after gig after. Wonderful!
We have been blessed and we know it. And we continue to remind ourselves to count our blessings everyday.
2012 was pretty eventful too.
An adorable nephew to add sunshine to our lives. Many exciting music events and opportunities. Numerous trips and travel galore. New friends and connections and this has continued in to 2013 with even more exciting stuff. Sometimes, our home reverberates with our happy screams and some days, heavy collective sighs. And life goes on. The cheers and the tears. All taken into our stride.
Many emails ago and after, things just suddenly started falling into place. All piece by piece like a jigsaw puzzle with a little help from all the networking efforts over the years. And much thanks to our dear friends Anushka and Iswar at Uramili for totally supporting us.
So here is the March calendar. First half atleast. The rest are sorting themselves out. And we finally step into unchartered waters with great excitement and looking forward to a meaningful exchange of culture, music and unique experiences.
Did we mention our love for dosas and idlis and sambhar? Delhi friends will definitely understand if we mention our sojourns to RK Puram's KFC (Karnataka Food Center) and good ole Savarana Bhavan outlets in CP. So now, next stop Hyderabad? Kerala? Fingers crossed.
For now, we are perfectly content and working on putting up an excellent show for Chennai and Bangalore. And here we have the gig schedule for our Southern Date :)
